I've been let down on crew for a channel crossing Friday week (12 April) to Honfleur. Any takers?
I’ve been over the channel several times before, including at night, and often with a completely novice crew (but not both!) This crossing is largely by day, and takes us up the Seine with the tide (as you have to) in the evening, arriving at Honfleur by midnight. I hope to get through the Saturday morning bridge opening into the vieux bassin. Breakfast in Honfleur. My family will arrive by ferry to Le Havre with cycles on a bike rack, for a week’s family holiday.
Board and lodging in Belle Serene (she's a 39' Beneteau) on the Thursday night in Hamble and the Friday night in Honfleur. The ferry at Le Havre is the other side of the river.
