Does any have any comments on whether it is worth paying the extra for a radial cut on a roller reefing genoa, compared to cross cut? If so Bi- or Tri- radial?

Particularly with regards to shape when reefed/unreefed/durability.

Thanks.

There was a thread on this subject mid Feb 2002. Search on 'radial' and ignore the stuff about clouting the prop!

Skyva's reference below was about a thread I started.

Conclusion I came to was x-cut, based on the fact that to be successful a radial needs to be built from a special cloth, almost certainly some form of laminate. Laminates are better than they were in terms of longevity, but the between the lines verdict seems to be that they are still not as long-lasting as a good quality dacron. Some of the laminates also don't like to be put away wet - not very practical for a roller furlers which just gets wound up, whatever the weather.
