Crosby Warning

In the past, Crosby have been recommended in several threads as being top of the range, quality articles. Genuine ones still are, but I have just received an Alert to say that counterfeit ones have turned up at several (unspecified) locations within the EU.
If you have bought, or are planning to buy Crosby shackles, please check the following -
1 - Fakes have CROSBY cast on the body, not Crosby
as on the genuine ones.
2 - Fakes do not have CE stamped on them.
3 - Fakes do not have ID number on the Pin.
