Crinan Hotel

I had the misfortune to be in Crinan last month & was ashamed & shocked by the poor service arrogance of the management, staff and crazy prices at this hotel. I left with my party hungry & fully sober. My strong advice to people passing through “ keep passing” <span style="color:black"> </span>

Had the same experience recently...a chicken salad with two very small pieces of tough chook hiding in a plate of unappetising greenery. Unfortunately I had paid upfront and was told when I complained that I could take it or leave it. Never again!!!!!!!

How sad.
I had one of the best bar meals that I've ever had at this place. Was about 10 yrs ago though.
Restaurant looked a bit "precious" back then as well.

£22 for bangers and mash. Nobody in bar but they still kicked me and my 17 year old son out, he was drinking Irn Bru. The absolute worst of Scottish hospitality.

For some of the best try Coll hotel or the Maharani Indian in Port Ellen.

try the cairnbaan hotel next to the lock in the town, service seemed ok when we had lunch there last summer....

we too had a good meal at Cairnbaan last summer - it has changed hands quite a bit over the years as I remember

Crinan is definitely one of my least favourites!
