Just swapped my sailing dinghy for a small yacht. Looking forward to spending more time on the water than in it!

So I am dumping the wetsuit and looking for something that will keep me dry. Not intending to venture far - mainly pottering around Southampton Water.

Cant decide whether the Crewsaver Hi Chest are good enough for this sort of use. Some of the more expensive alternatives seem a bit over-kill.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Chris

Pottering around Southampton water, I generally wear cheap hiking trousers and either a padded lumberjack shirt or a canvas smock :). If it rains, I put on a bright blue PVC raincoat from T K Maxx :D

I do own a set of proper oilskins, bought as a present by my mum when I was a student, but there's really no need for such things for pottering around the Solent.
