Now - I am fairly new to this sailing lark but have been lucky enough to crew on quite a few boats since January thanks to a certain Seeking Crew type company. Now the summer is here (supposedly) finding places is becoming darn near impossible thanks to all the "summer" sailors who have come along.
I would love to crew in Cowes Week but what chance have I got?.....there are so many people with "rock star" postings on the Cowes Week website that I will be overlooked....
what do you suggest to increase my chances of being out on the water?!

Just come down and hang around Cowes Yacht Haven a few days before. Use the beer tent and ask around. I guarantee that you will get on something.
