I sail a very well equiped Southerly 100 out of Brightlingsea. Most of my saling is at weekends. Sometimes just a day trip but from time to time a full weekend.
Usually I sail single handed so if somebody would like a crewing taster they would not need to be experienced. If an experienced sailor would like a sail that would also be welcomed.
I am 68 and a Yachtmaster. My wife very rarely comes to the boat. She has lost interest and prefers to stay at home.
As I said mostly short trips but in the summer I also make the odd trip to France, the Solent or to Belgium/Holland.
Where berthing costs are involved I would expect to share them. Also I would expect to share fuel and food costs. I am happy to do the food preparation for on board meals.
