Crewing opportunity w/c 30 July from Hamble

I have a week off work to go sailing, but find myself down on crew at short notice. So, if anyone is interested in some cruising - nothing too demanding, day sailing only - for some or all of next week please let me know.

Boat is a Dufour 40 that I have owned since 2005. Hamble based.

I'm not looking for paid crew and, ideally, would like someone who is solvent (as I like to go out for a decent meal and a beer or two in the evenings and I don't want to be the one picking up the tab every day!)

Crew sailing experience less important than personality, provided you can follow instructions like "pull that red rope".

I'm up for a bit of sailing next week. Where are thinking of going - the usual Solent haunts or a bit further afield?

Not sure of destinations yet. it would be good to get out of the Solent, though. Possibly a couple of days over the other side of the Channel. If not then, at the very least, Poole or the equivalent to the East.

UPDATE: I have crew now for the first half of the week (until Tuesday 31 July or Wednesday 1 August), but still looking for someone for the rest of the week.

Things are looking up! I will be out on the water all next week after all.

Still one more place from Thursday 2nd August to Saturday 4th if anyone is interested, but you would either need to do all three days or else be willing to travel back from a different port to the one where you joined the yacht.
