We are looking for a young, energetic and keen crew member to join us for our trip to Corsica departing Plymouth in July. Our ideal choice would be an experienced sailor trained to at least Day Skipper standard with 40ft+ cruising yacht experience who is looking to log miles or just enjoy working the passage from the UK to the Med.
You will be expected to play a full and active role in all major crewing duties including night watch and assume full responsibility for the safety and security of the vessel when the owners (me and my wife) go ashore. Accommodation will be in the air-conditioned crew quarters forward.
This is a paid position but the wages will not be generous. You will not be doing this for just the money. However, all onboard food will be provided.
Our yacht is "Magnum" a brand new CNB Bordeaux 60. She's specced on the racy side with North 3DL moulded sails, 2.95m lead keel and Hall Spars carbon mast and boom. There's a lot more info regarding the build process here.
