I'll happily criticise one of the earlier incarnations - one of their boats tried to run me down once!

Hardly relevant to this thread, though.

I suppose the next thing is to speculate, with absolutely no evidence, on the causes of the leak and pontificate, from the comfort of our computer chairs, on what the unfortunate crew and/or owners did wrong.

All I'll say is that I'm glad I wasn't there and gladder that they were rescued.
