crew needeed

Hi all

Has anyone got any ideas where I can get genuine crew to help bring a yacht back from the med to the uk .

I’ve tried placing ad on crewseekers and crew find but with out any luck , hey plenty of offers of marriage though , ( one got to laugh ) and guys who looking to escape there own country , but no genuine sailor .

Any ideas would be good

Hm, not a normal "milk run"/sunshine route i suppose.

7knots.com is quite good, not too many marriage/lonely hearts ads.

There is also http://www.findacrew.net, but you have to part with beer tokens in order to contact anyone that responds to your advert.

you might get more interest if you publish some of the basic details like from where to where - both the Med and the UK are big places! Also when, eg May, June, or whatever? How long - non stop? several breaks? What sort of vessel? How many likely to be on board?

All these things make a difference to whetting the appetite.
