crew needed

Hi all

Has anyone got any ideas where I can get genuine crew to help bring a yacht back from the med to the uk .

I’ve tried placing ad on crewseekers and crew find but with out any luck , hey plenty of offers of marriage though , ( one got to laugh ) and guys who looking to escape there own country , but no genuine sailor .

Any ideas would be good

Just why is it such bad manners to post across forums.
Many of us just view one forum and might miss something of interest if the writer was restricted to just one.?

There is usually much less of interest to me on the other forums, which is , I guess why we have seperate forums.
Now and again there are threads which may interest those who traditionally use just one forum. In these instances I dont see any harm ( in fact I see value) in posting across forums.
I certainly dont feel we need to 'tell people off' when they feel their item might be of interest.??

Yes, but it's a Rule, isn't it. And a large number on here are Veddy British. Fatal combination.

Managed to find Vedda but that makes even less sense.

Regarding the multiple posting problem, the forum rules state:-

4) spamming - please do not post the same message in several forums and under no circumstances post messages with advertising messages or those seeking commercial gain of any kind.

However this is applied on a sporadic basis as one can find regular adds on most pages. These will include anything from "contact me for ..." to "btw my boat is for sale"
Perhaps a moderator would comment?

I must say I have seen more pleas for not posting on more than one forum in the last week than i can remember. What is the problem? or is it that it is against the rules? dont read it if it bothers you.
