Looking for crewing opportunities, I am based in Cheltenham, but happy to travel to South Coast, Wales, SW and North West in order to get some miles under my belt.
Dinghy Sailor (Lasers, GP14) for a few years. Sold the dinghy a few years ago. I just completed RYA Comp Crew in Gibraltar, but sailing wise I am well above that standard. I am booked in for Day Skipper theory in May and a practical probably by late June.
Fit and active, I don't feel or act like a 50yr old. Comfortable living aboard and happy to contribute to the sailing and cooking arrangements. Good cook, I can rustle up enough simple meals to keep the crew happy. Good sense of humour and get on well with others. Non-Smoker and only occasional drinker.
I want to try to build up experience by getting out weekends and maybe longer trips. PM me if interested
