I'm picking up our Atlantic 42 from Amsterdam this weekend and bringing her back to UK. I can offer a couple of places to forum readers who would like to come along for the ride. Experience not essential. You would have to get yourselves over to Amsterdam then it's a train ride (~€10) and a short taxi ride to the marina in Lelystad. I'm booked on a 1600 flight out of Heathrow but there are loads of alternatives if that doesn't suit or is full. Plan to leave Lelystad early Saturday, through the North Sea Canal to IJmuiden then across to Ramsgate (probably). After that I'm heading up the Thames on Sunday and meeting wife and family somewhere to be decided. It's a two nights/one and a half days trip. I have one other crew (a mate) at present so enough to do the trip anyway.
