Crew from Azores to Madeira in late August and Madeira to Canaries.

We will be sailing from the Azores to Porto Santa in late August and we will also be taking her from Madeira to the Canaries in late September could do with another crew member for either of these legsso if you fancy a taste of blue water sailing this is your opportunity.

The Boat is a Beneteau Idylle, 11.5m and is rigged for blue water sailing. My wife Pat and I are experienced Blue Water sailors and we have taken "Sleepy Shores" across the pond a coupe of times.

Minimum period for each is about a week. Contributions towards expenses will be required.

I'm not in the market for a crew berth but as I'm often in your situation I'd be interested in the level of expenses you ask for.

To save us all from fereting around charts and/or software, can you indicate the approximate distances for these two passages. Would they be YM Ocean qualifying distance?

Hi Bignick,

Both are less than 500 which I think is the qualifying distance but we will have many other legs of more than the qualifying distance in the future if of interest.
