Dark Horse is a schooner rigged Southern Ocean Shipyard Ocean 60, 18.3m in length, 5 double cabins, 2 heads, a salon and galley. She gets her name from the dark horse logo of Lloyds TSB (her previous owner).
There are 4 crew places available (in two double cabins). Couples or friends have the benefit of their own cabin. The schedule is:
Depart Sardinia Monday 26th October for Balearics cruise through the island, stopping 3 days
Depart Balearics Monday 1st November to Gibraltar stop for two days for provisions and fuel.
Depart Gibraltar Monday 7th November to Canary islands cruise through the islands and spend 2/3 days ashore.
Leave Canary Islands 16th November to Cape Verde islands spend 5 days cursing through the archipelago visiting two of the most isolated islands
Depart Cape Verde Islands 27th November to Barbados (2,085nm) party 3/4 days in Barbados sail to Grenadines to arrive 16th December.
Total approx 4,500nm and over 50 nights
We ask a contribution towards shared costs. All on shore expenses are your own including cost of flight to Sardinia and home from the Caribbean. Tasks such as cooking and cleaning are shared.
