Ahoi,
Hey, my name is Finn and I am a 22-year-old German traveler, hitchhiking around the world since 2007.
Currently I am staying in Malaysia and I am looking for opportunities to sail from anywhere in SE Asia to anywhere else.
I am available from now, but I would be glad to join a boat as late as May 2010.
I'd prefer to sail towards Sri Lanka and onward but I am open for any other direction.
Last year I crewed on two private sailing yachts (both sloops, 40 and 44 ft)
from Panama City across the South Pacific to Brisbane, Australia.
I gained some experiences in keeping watches, setting and trimming sails, navigation, anchoring etc., but I would love to improve my abilities further since I loved the 5 months on the sea.
I can also prepare decent meals and worked in the kitchens of several cafes.
