Update: now Day Skipper qualified after a wild week in the solent.
I am looking to get some sea time crewing on cruising yachts to consolidate what is learnt on the courses.
I decided to take a year out from my normal hobby (mountaineering) to get back in to sailing (mid life crisis maybe). I am based in Cheltenham, but have transport and looking to travel for days or weekends afloat.
Male, 50yr old, but don't feel it. Fit and active, good cook, easy going, gets on well with newcomers. I am looking to sail rather than hang out in the marina or pubs. Non-smoker, occasional social drinker.
Single and available most weekends, plus some longer trips over the summer
