crescent outboards

Has anyone come across this make, are they any good? I have been offered an 8.5 with almost all the necessary working parts, what are my chances of finding the remainder?

I think they're the same as Volvo Penta outboards. I had a 25 horse once which went well but parts were a real pain to source. There's a bloke up north who specialises in parts for them - can't think who - someone else may know. If I remember I'll post details
