so being a idiot I got my self a portable mmsi , didn't realise I needed a fixed mmsi , so my brand new standard horizon now has the wrong mmsi in it
looking on google it said likley have to send back the unit and pay
so after emailing std horizon over the weekend , they just called me , they needed a code from the radio and the old mmsi I had entered , they are going to email Japan and will have a reply usually next day with a erase code that will allow a full factory reset . all free of charge

WOW so 10/10 thats amazing service , he even talked me through how to obtain the info he needed .

Had dealings with Standard Horizon and a problem with a chart plotter, although 3 yer as old it was brand new in the box.
They no longer make CPs but asked that I send it to them, the problem was with the card reader, fixed, no charge!
