Hi another poser,

Looked at a cranchi smeraldo 36 with kad 42's today,year 1995

looks to be well kept, he looking 60,000 euro,

what would be a realistic offer to put in for it.

No idea about what would be a sensible price in current market, but the Smeraldo hull is one of the best Cranchi ever built in that size range, imho. Way better than the Zaffiro 34, in spite of the fact that this was actually an even more successful model.
 
that is a good price thinking a friend of myn a year ago bought an early 1992 model for 85000 EUROS located in Spain, condition was ok but not pristine
the Smeraldo is a very good hull, suffers a bit big (Force 5+) following seas but for head seas I dont think there is much boats in its size which can compete with her construction wise was is also very good
I dont agree sort off with Mapis that is was so much better to the 34 Zaffiro, as I think they sort of balance themselves what one is good at the other is average and so on
what is sure is that Smeraldo has a big boat feeling with a big cockpit for its size 38ft+ overall, and big lower saloon

its in very good overall condition,looks like a

much younger boat, I offered 45,000 euro

and it was turned down.Think i will go to
euro 50k and see what happens

accountant and ive seen him in the marina

with this boat for the past seven years
