Cranchi Ellipse 21 (reviews MBM Sep 1998)

Does anyone have the Sep 1998 MBM? I'm interested in what they had to say about the Cranchi Ellipse in the Group Boat Test (p82).

Took a look at one this week and it seems like a nice layout for a smallish (21') boat...

Of course, I'd really like a Turchese, but can't lay my hands on the extra £5k it would cost to buy one!

Had and Ellipse 21, Great boat for 21ft.

Would recomend you go for the larger engine option. I think it was Volvo Penta V8 270 Hp.

I had a Turchaser last year. Great boat. it is for sale in ibiza for £35K as i traded it for a sunseeker. it was my first boat and i really liked it. very fast and handles well. fairly economical with 5l v8 dp

Had and Ellipse 21, Great boat for 21ft.

Have you ever tried the V6? Imho, it's more than enough for the Ellipse.
I'd spend more for the V8 only if I had waterski in mind, and/or high load.
Anyway yes, VP it is. Cranchi doesn't use anything else.
