Poole - Weymouth. Wind up my chuff, f5 occasionally f6 which eventually dropped to f4. Rolled quite a bit as Genoa was packed away so I used a hanked on Yankee on the inner forestay, poled out to port and main off to starboard with a preventer, instead of my normal twin headsail downwind rig. On one roll and yaw I managed to snap my aluminium whisker pole so had to use my fiberglass one. Other mishaps, one main batten lost and a toggle on another (full) batten broke. Neither of the chandlers I went to in Weymouth sold battens!
Forecast for the rest of the week is crap, the only comfortable window is tomorrow, Sunday, wind is forecast to come round to SW but with some rain, so it looks like back to Poole and sulk
