Having managed a full carb strip & clean on my 2010 Honda BF10 4-stroke , I then went and overtightened when re-attaching the carburettor. The carb is fine, its the the lug on the engine the bolt goes into that's cracked. Is it game over, or can that engine part be replaced? Not great with mechanics, as you can tell...

I think that you need a few more posts, but I picture of the item would be nice.
Could the crack be pinned or welded up. Or rough up the outside surface and use a plastic padding "metal filler" to reinforce the fitting. Could a longer bolt be used with a nut on the back.

The lug and bolt does not to be madly tight to seal the carb to the inlet, as its not major load bearing. It is possible that plastic metal might hold it all in place and I have even done that (warily) on a stripped cylinder head bolt socket using the right compound. The problem with that is future disassembly.

As boathook says a longer bolt going right through the lug would be better, if one can get to the far side
