Hi all,
We came up to Harwich from Brightlingsea on Saturday, flat calm near enough and sunny, approaching Walton pier I spotted and avoided this line of pot "markers". The second one did have a tiny flag, but the others would have been near enough invisible in any chop.
They were about 1/2 mile west of the pier and about 1/2 mile off, pretty much where one would be passing.
Don't know if they are regularly there, but worth keeping a lookout. The usual suspects around the Naze were there but I always stand well on towards Medusa before turning North, as I know there is one that has been there for years which is virtually invisible being black and covered with weed.
I have submitted a report on the RYA form. Easy enough to do on my iMac, but virtually impossible on an iPad which I tried first!!
