What a great week!
Good wind (in the main) good competition and great parties!
The mark roundings seemed even more manic than ususal, especially as we (in the J-sprit class) were consistantly catching the majority of the class in front. If I had a criticism of the organisation it would be that the order of starts was wrong, or that sending us on the exact same course was perhaps not the best idea, especially given that the standard of rules knowledge in class 6 is best described as "shakey".
Another personal highlight was the wit of one of our crew when rounding a very crowded mark with carnage going on behind us just turned round and yelled "MORE SHOUTING!!!!" at the mele.
Made me laugh anyway!
Ashore the beer tent was as pricy as ever, but this is Cowes, moaning about it will just ruin your week!
