Thank Mike, even if I'd seen this last night I struggle to operate the TV and the other box thing its sits on, I'm much better with tools and paint brushes!

Actually the coverage wasn't bad with some quite good on board and close up running shots which gave you a fair impression of the sea conditions. Altogether a good effort I thought although obviously made on a budget

The competitors had a fairly tough time this year.
We were safety boating and stayed inside the Solent, it was not a nice day.

Blast! I missed it. It's on again on Motors at 2.00pm this afternoon. Anyone got a DVD recorder? 
I went down towards Yarmouth to see the start in the morning and intended to go out to Hurst to watch them coming back into the Solent on the return leg. Decided not to.......
