Our fourth annual UK-Finland cruise begins May 1. We normally sail nonstop to Helgoland, about three days and nights, then Kiel Canal, then we make our way through the Baltic to Finland, usually via Denmark, Sweden South Coast, Gotland, Estonia, etc., but the route depends on wind and mood. We aim to arrive by the end of the month.

We are looking for a couple of jolly sailors to join us on this adventure.

Vessel is a well-found Moody 54 with carbon laminate sails, so speed plus comfort.

You should be a decent sailor, but even more important, good company.

Please write by PM for further information.

Some modifications to the plan: Departure is now 9 May (muster on 8 May), arriving Copenhagen, weather permitting, about 16 May. We will spend about a week in Copenhagen, then resume sailing towards Finland, arriving about 7 June. Possibly one berth still available; maybe two for the Copenhagen-Helsinki segment.

The Cowes-Copenhagen leg is now full, but there is one possibly two berths open for Copenhagen-Helsinki, starting around 22 May.

Copenhagen-Helsinki now starts on 19 May. There are still two berths available. This is quite a fun part of the trip -- last year we sailed nonstop to Nynshamn, outside of Stockholm (two nights and a day of sailing), then sailed from there overnight to Hanko in Finland, and then spent the next two weeks lazily cruising the glorious Finnish archipelago.

It depends on the wind and weather of course, but this year we might do something similar. Maybe sailing in the Stockholm archipelago and the up to the Aland and the Archipelago Sea, but we will see. The Estonian islands is another idea, but Southwest Finland is really particularly spectacular.
