Cowes this weekend

Taking some friends to the Osbourne House Proms/Fireworks thing this weekend. Various rallies going on in Cowes so both East Cowes and Yacht Haven are fully booked for Saturday Night.

We are staying in Hotel on Sat Night in Cowes (small boat) so would be really useful to be close by as we will have bags/seats/picnic etc. Guess we could do Yarmouth and catch a bus but does anyone else have ideas for mooring for Sat night with easy transport to Cowes?

There are public berths in the centre of the river, pontoons with no lekky,bbetween E Cowes marina and Yacht haven. Call harbourmaster to book (or maybe they dont take bookings, in which case turn up early and nab a space). you need tender or taxi to get ashore
