Long shot, but perhaps the forum could put their collective feelers out for this one. I have acquired an old Beken of Cowes photo taken at the 1963 Cowes Regatta. It shows three small yachts sailing in a line with their kites up. I was wondering if any of the three yachts were still around and if so, whether the current owner of one of the boats might like to have the photo? The three yachts featured are called "Sarie Marais", "Zeebloem" and "Sabeema". They may be boats from the continent but wondered if they were still around today?

"Saie Marais" is the official march of the RM COmmandos. Possibly the RMSC club yacht ?

"Zeebloem" was a JOG yacht from the very early days of JOG, owned William Tribes.

"Sabeema" was one of the early John Lewis Partnership yachts.

Thanks Sarabande. I thought it was too much of a long shot to get any info. I wonder if the boats are still in commission today or are forgotten at the back of some boatyard?
