Since my ear is to the ground so to speak!

Reasonable places to eat, no change from last year.
Amabi (Portugese, sheperds wharf)
Moocow (tapas ish)
Mojacs
Coast

Best place to eat posh
Brawns, was tapas, now high end french by great chef Charlie.

Best value
The mess bar, lots of small snacks ranging from £5-£10, you can't book though.
Also there is Lusty pies for a quick daytime snack in the old Joliffes building down from Mojacs

Avoid
Saffron, Indian, scored 0 if food hygiene rating.

Surprise turnaround
The anchor, new management, not tries myself but told it's a lot better, good guest beers too.

Closed
China China, plans to re-open as the Globe pub serving food but nowhere near opening yet.

Something different
Island sailing club and Royal Corinthian SC (Do not confuse with Cowes Corinthian have great views and reasonable food and welcome guests. Book in advance recommended)

Anchor has a new chef which has made a difference, Pier View good for "pub grub", burgers, paninis etc. Haven't been there this year yet but had a couple of decent meals in Lugley's down on the parade as well.

I guess you meant Royal Corinthian Yacht Club? (AKA Cowes branch of RORC)
