Cowes berth

Anybody got any good ideas where to tie up in Cowes at the start of Cowes week ( Frid & Sat). I'm not joining in, but it's the start of our holiday cruise to CI's and we have tickets for Westlife at Osbourne House for the Saturday eve.
Tried the marina's but can't book either of those dates and the prices.....well, double of course.

Go up to the Folly, or even Island Harbour. Then use a taxi

Personally I avoid Cowes during that week.
I would get the ferry over.

You will have no problems mooring at the Folly during cowes week, alternatively lock into Island Harbour Marina. Anythere else downstream will be booked. Don't rely on water bus to/from the Folly during Cowes Week though, you might wait for ever. Best walk up the hill (10 mins) and catch the bus

Folly pontoon is your best bet. Osbourne isn't too bad a walk from there, via Whippingham, IIRC.

Sorry, did you say Westlife tickets? Surely not the type of music to listen to before embarking on an adventure to the CI's.

You need some sea shanties with a hint of fiddle!
