Courier from Wales to Cumbria

I have bought an inflatable Rubber dinghy in South Wales.

Buyer insists I sort out my own courier.

Tried Shipley, Getting quotes of £164..... +over £10 Shipley fees

Uship £168.77.......

Cant seem to find any couriers on Google that do one off's.

Any help anyone?

Marine Scene chandlers are based near Cardiff and they do a courrier service (any item not just stuff bought from them). Google for phone number.

I Use Parcel -to- go
gives you the choice of several companies
I generally use TNT.

Once an Item was lost
Parcel -to -go found it,
They don't just say tough!!

I use www.interparcel.com you can put in weight and size and it will quote you all the couriers

Did you click the Ebay link on Shipley. If so it will give a dimension of say 3.0Metre x 1.2Metre, hence high price

No, I put the correct dimensions in Shipley but it does have a photo of it inflated which might be keeping the price high.

Now down to £112 I haven't used Shipley before so the procedure is new to me.

Just tried your link and put in his details

Are you using the 10m dimensions.

Looks like parcel force is going to be the best bet, now I just have to get the seller to wrap it up.

And give me some proper weight and dimensions rather than " I would guess it weighs about 30kgs ish. It rolls/folds to about 1 metre square and 0.5 m high"

People must love buying stuff off me I make it so easy.

Nope, I used the ordinary 100cm per metre dimensions :D

A problem with that outfit is they insist that the Lakes are in the Highlands and Islands so perhaps the delivery is by one of those push-bikes with a basket on the front.
