Its looking like a very large lump of scrap, unless anyone knows otherwise.
Blackpool!! The Last Resort.
Its about fifteen years since i've been there. Took the kids to the Sea Life Centre, but the sharks had already been fed, so we went to the Illuminations instead.
" Me mam, me dad, me gran and me, we went to Blackpool and the sea. It rained and rained for most o'the day, but we all got brown in a funny sort of way........it were rust" ( opening lines of Mike Harding's Talking Blackpool Blues)

[/ QUOTE ] Were you going to feed the kids to the Sharks?
No...the other way round...we were just going to use the kids as bait. (Our lad was 20 yesterday bless him, and he's coming home from Uni on saturday to eat us out of house and home...again. We've only just paid off the Christmas food bills)

There's a famous seaside place called Blackpool,
That's noted for fresh-air and fun,
And Mr and Mrs Ramsbottom
Went there with young Albert, their son.
A grand little lad was their Albert
All dressed in his best; quite a swell
'E'd a stick with an 'orse's 'ead 'andle
The finest that Woolworth's could sell.
They didn't think much to the ocean
The waves, they was fiddlin' and small
There was no wrecks... nobody drownded
'Fact, nothing to laugh at, at all.
