Nova in Dieppe. WE got there when the marina was supposed to be 'closed' due to a regatta. Nearly had the visitors pontoon to ourslves.

View of Fecamp from the hill. It's a bit of a walk. Well actually I pushed my folding bike up there. It was worth it for the ride back down. Whoop whooop.

Is the , "Shot impellor shot practice shot" a piccie of the impellor of Your Nimbus?
Last time in Dieppe, it was the End of Season Herring festival or similar.
All the houses around and about the Harbour spilled thier unwanted onto the pavement.
Pubs/Bars were barbying Herring and Jacket spuds and a glass of wine for nuppence.
Bit of a Fair and the Market was going on.
Twas like a Giant size car boot/ Barby.
As said , We like the place. just had SWMBO looking over Me shoulder ("wanna go again )"She,s hollering /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes, Impellor shot was on Nimbus. I think it had gotten brittle through inaction over winter. Luckily it went when we were close to shore at Dungeness. Dropped the hook in the lee of the point, fixed impellor and continued on to Ramsgate. Also lucky it was the port engine as easily accessible. If it had been the starboard engine I couldn't have done it at sea. Once in Ramsgate we changed the other one as precaution.

Yes we liked Dieppe. Not as pretty as some of the other places on the cruise but if you like french eateries you are spoilt for choice.

Good Man, always keep an impellor or two on board Says I!
Yeh those little Restraunts around the dock are canny.
Twas the first time I had tasted Skate wings.
Caught loads in North Wales as a Kid but always gave them away!
Kept all the Plaice I caught though!
Back to impellors.That's a good reminder for peeps.
Inactivity doesn't suit them, that's for sure.
