The Galion 22 which I bought via eBay on an impulse and which gave me much stress has turned out to be a corker!
As planned, we moved her from Kemps on the Itchen to Hayling on Monday. There was a steady westerley F7, so predictably we made good time - averaging 5.5kn. The boat was a delight to handle, we only dared to get 1/3 of the main up but that was enough. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
The engine needs some tidying up, but for a 40 year old classic she is in lovely condition. I am tickled pink, thank you to everyone who offered words of encouragement.
Next comes some minor navigation gear to fit and that engine to tweak, then a mid-winter run round to Kent. Eeek
