Been away from computer/internet for the last 3 weeks.
After a long research last year, I decided to employ Costa Blanca Yacht services to strip Jennywren and apply Coppercoat.
Dennis, the owner of Cost Blanca Yacht Service was recommended by Coppercoat and I also took up several references.

I particularly interested in using a "slurry" blasting process rather than dy blasting to remove the old antifouling.

A group of four boats arranged to do all our boats at the same time. We were all impressed at how gentle the removal process was. Friends on this forum have said that it only removes the paint and leaves the gelcoat intact. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is indeed the case.

I'm still in Spain but if anyone is interested in the whole process, I will post more when I get home.

Anyway, here's a couple of pics in the mantime.

Oooh looks a nice job. We'll be interested to see how it has performed when you next lift JW, and ditto the other 3 boats. I'm sticking with M77 for the coming season, out of inertia, and having it applied in 2 weeks

Mike,
how often do you "strip" old antifoul ?
what is the general rule for that, every X years ?

my surveyor discovered "4 layers" on BA last year, and advised: its OK to add on one more time antifouling.

Ill use the same product as last year, as I'm very happy with that,
they also did the props and rudders, but with a different collor / product
have to asc the yard what they have used.

I had a problem with some M66 from a previous year and, being a perfectionist, I wnted it all off.
This was a perfect opportunity to switch to Coppercoat.
I've got some interesting pics of the process that I'll post next week.
