Cost of repairing/servicing boat engines

Here in Türkiye there appears to be no established norm for charging for maintenance and servicing of boat engines. They try to charge whatever they think they'll get away with. I'm asking about labour charges only. So how does your Volvo, Yanmar or whatever mechanic charge and how much? Is it by the hour, and if so how much?

I pay £50 an hour on the job, not counting time ordering parts or travelling, which feels like a lot, but is significantly less than the garage that looks after my car.

The going rate here (South coast) is in the region of £50-60 an hour for an independent but some dealers, particularly Volvo will be more. Last time I used the Volvo agent 3 years ago it was £75. Travelling time is often extra, but those I have used are only 10 minutes from the boat so no travelling time. I always get a quote against specific work and mostly they stick to that or contact if they find something that needs more hours.
