I am currently moored in a secure Marina near London city airport and pay
£1.25 per foot per week.

I would prefer to relocate the non tidal waters fromm teddington onwards..
are there any secure moorings at a near comparable price up there ??

Also, does anyone know who runs the floating pontoon moorings near teddington lock, on the tidal side, under the bridge

Ta !

The floating moorings are called Teddington Harbour.

Contact details are:The Boat Shop, Ferry Road , Teddington TW11 9NN - 0208 977 9978

That £1.25 / ft /week looks cheap until you work it out on annual basis. It's about the bottom end (or below) what you would pay in a marina, though bankside might be cheaper, but then they may not be "secure".

I suggest Abingdon marina or Osney Mill or Marina.

Depends on the length and beam of your boat.

There's bank side moorings for craft up to 30' available now at Moulsford on Thames. See the advert on boatsandoutboards.co.uk or call 01491 651370 and leave a message for a call back.
