I am toying with the idea of having the anti foul removed by blasting. What are the sort of costs that I should expect to be charged For this service?

Thanks

Have just got a quote for my She 36 - wet slurry blasting, East Coast Area - £720. Had a look at some work being done in Suffolk Yacht Haven and thought the finish was very acceptable as Im intending to epoxy and coppercoat. Made a bit of a mess around the place when they worked but they cleaned it all up and as on hard seemed ok, loads of boats around so they screened the boat from these too as they worked so no collateral damage or overblow
Comparison quote using dry ice - £1000 plus vat and they wouldnt guaranteee getting it all the way back to gelcoat so would only remove the top layers.
Seemd good value to me as 3-4 days scraping doesnt appeal

East Coast (Foxes) 2yr ago, blast hull and shot blast keel, apply 1x VCtar to keel - £450 ish IIRR. 31ft fin keel.

Its the way to go.......:)

in the south we charge £12/foot for a dry blast or £14/ft with the farrow system plus vat. On the east coast it is £15/ft no vat for farrow.

too far for us to be economical on tyneside though but I hope the price is an indicator for you.
