\'Cost Effective\' Mud Berths

Many of you will have seen Dylan Winter's Keep Turning Left, You Tube Video's, I am sure you will agree they are a terrific effort.

Dylan is looking for a mud berth on the Orwell/Deben as he progress's up the East Coast. Being relatively new to this part of the East Coast (and having a MOBO /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif ) I can't help but wondered if anyone here had any suggestions or PM Dylan direct.

Re: \'Cost Effective\' Mud Berths

Where has he got to now? The second Thames video says he was off to the creeks & mud of Essex, & the last (when watched them all last week) was the OGA race at Brightlingsea.

Do you know if any more likley to be posted soon?

Re: \'Cost Effective\' Mud Berths

That is my understanding Ian but I think he is trying to plan moorings ahead.

Dylan went to School in Woolverstone and knows the area reasonably well but is out of touch with available moorings hence his request.

PS: I should have said Orwell or Stour not Deben /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Re: \'Cost Effective\' Mud Berths

Stour sailing club would have swing moorings during the winter (including mine !!) but they may be a bit exposed. Mistley Marine may well have some pontoon mud berths.
