Prompted by an item in the latest PBO, and the fact that I have been trying to update three folios for use this summer (all latest editions bought this season), I have to say that I have found the process very cumbersome. Each chart in each folio identifies its source charts and latest correction thereto incorporated in the SC chart, but you then have to go through the HO web site for each of the source charts (no corrections listed for SC folio charts), one by one. It is a fiddly process, and I am still not sure if the correction blocks are to the right scale for the folio editions. The whole thing is more complicated because the folio charts are not updated to the time of sale, so there is quite a backlog of corrections to find and print, one correction at a time.

What do other people do about correcting their SC folios? I think that the folios are a great idea, and an economical way to get chart coverage, but the correction process is a pain, at least initially. It may be easier to maintain once you are up to date, using the lists of corrections in the magazines, I think.
