Hi, I'm planning to repaint a waterline strip which I painted over last year with antifoul as I was in a rush...
Do waterlines require a special paint or do I just get another colour of antifoul?
Also, will it be an issue that I'll be painting over antifoul?
Thanks,
Crisp

International (and probably other firms) make a special boot stripe paint that is supposed to stand the scrubbing of the topsides just above the waterline.

Cove line tape is also an option and comes in various colours and widths.

I'm a total convert of Cove Line tape instead of paint.

Modern antifouls can withstand not being submerged and still look good.

Applying the tape can be a bit of a struggle . For people like me , probably worth paying someone to apply it.
