The bristol Channel suffers one Tsunami a month on average and rocks that move half a mile overnight.

Pirate activity rife off the North Devon Coast .

This is the only Pontoon Berth for a 100 mile radius.

...... and the land is pretty toxic too. Some years ago the Environment Agency discovered tin in the soil where my boat was in winter lay-up. (They of course attributed it to my anti-fouling [copper based, of course]); but as I live within 50m of an old mine shaft I know differently. Best advice - stay away.

"Tin"

That reminds me of a story (don't groan)

Two Irishmen go to London to make their fortune.
Walking along they pick up a milk bottle top
"Look Paddy, it's true, the streets are paved with gold and silver"
"Roit you are Brendan, lets get a drink"
So into a pub they go and order a couple of pints of Guiness
When they come to pay they tender the milk bottle top
"I'm not taking that" says the barman
"Why not?" "Because thats tin" says the barman
"Tin is it" says Paddy "Well we'll have a meal as well"

Boom Boom!

Regards Broiny
