Does anybody here have a Mk1 Cornish Crabber - or know somebody who has - and would be willing to let us have a look in the cabin?

We're thinking of getting a Mk 1 perhaps in a couple of years, and wonder if we are building our plans around something which when we go for it the cabin was too small.

Our current boat is at Titchmarsh (Walton on the Naze), and was going to arrange to look at the Mk1 which was on brokerage there when we came back from holiday, but unfortunately it's now been sold. We're based near Reading so could easily get to anywhere Solent to East Coast.

I have tried posting this on the EC forum but so far drawn a blank & really don't want to put out somebody & pretend to be interested in buying now & waste their time.

Ian, go on to the Cornish Crabber Club site here http://cornishcrabbersclub.ning.com/

Quite a few have the Mk1's & Mk II's and would be delighted to show off their boats and give advice - plenty of pictures in the gallery section also of standard boats and examples that have larger coach roofs etc.
