Not sure if it is the same thing but had Moody cork decking round the cockpit area when we bought the boat 12 years ago and is still going strong. Sanded back 3 years ago as had various marks and stains and looked as good as new. Sun tan oils ( I wish ) stain particularly badly. Don't underestimate the sanding, it took 6 hours to refinish the cockpit benches, bridge deck and stern seat!
thanks for the photo it does look good. I am thinking of putting it on the side and fore decks as well as the cockpit as it is a good sound insulation. what was the thickness of your cork deaking?
Not sure exactly but probably 8 - 10 mm. Once you have stuck it down and caulked it you need to abrade it down with a belt sander, so some thickness will be lost during this stage.
