Corinth Canal - Clearing works for 2022?

Dear Friends
I am seeking further and preferably current information on the Corinth Canal works programme to clear the debris and carry out structural repairs, which I understand started in Jan 22 but internet research has failed to establish a works completion/reopening date.

Anyone local or anyone with inside information/insight.

Not really. We had been looking at having a flotilla trip through the canal this year but have given up on any such expectation. (We went through in Spring 2012.)

Thanks - well I certainly would not expect it to be open up in Spring 2022 but I am hoping maybe September might be possible.

Tony Cross who seems to have dropped of the radar, posted articles a few time from an English/Greek paper on progress, maybe worth a punt.

No. Drove over it 2 weeks ago but had no time to explore. Not have I seen anything showing removal from canal bed. But I am an optimist in life (despite the many disasters).
