The local fishermen were wondering what was going on today, come to that so did the Marina staff seeing all these boats leaving at the same time. Had to do a photo shoot for updating our web site with next years vessels.
Vessel with photographer on board 58ft Moonen dutch steel fly 50 plus tons with fuel to give the photographer something stable to stand on whilst at idle speed in the water whilst 4 planing boats circled and converged at 20 knts on said Moonen for photo shots. Two converging then four at a time poor old photographer got a bit wet.
Sea state started fairly mild but increasing westerly (3-4) plus all that wash made it shall we say fairly bosterous. Lots of wake jumping. The four villains where my F36 an F37, Stateman 450 and the Gobbi 425c. Guess which one had the tightest turning circle?
