If you want to line a chart table drawer or other locker to use as a Faraday cage against EMF from adjacent or direct lightning, then Lidl have a roll of copper mesh 12cm by 320cm for a few squids.

It is meant to protect cabbages against slugs, but is multi-purpose.

How effective it would be as a Faraday Cage might be questionable with such thin wire handling very high voltages. This magazine on HMS Trincomalee is copper lined against sparks and would certainly be a good Faraday Cage.

Would you not just use a spray adhesive to stick ordinary aluminium foil on the inside of your drawer (if you were so concerned)? You would still have a flat surface afterwards, with a relatively inert finish rather that a sort of metallic velcro to catch everything whilst slowly turning green?
