Ever wondered if the remote for your TV etc. is working, has it given up, are the batteries flat or whatever?

Try this... switch your mobile phone to camera, point the remote at the camera and press the key. If you see a flash on the phones screen then the remote is working.

Aha! Sometimes that doesn't work. is it the eye on the TV or the Remote. This checks out that the Remote isn't at fault.
